Quanex Transforms Akron Office with Striking Lobby Redesign

Recently, the Rogers team worked with Quanex Building Products to redesign its corporate lobby at its Akron, Ohio location.

A curved product wall promotes Quanex’s window, door, cabinet and solar technology solutions. A large mural depicting Quanex applications serves as the backdrop for acrylic panels with messaging about the company’s brand and products.

Nearby, a curved timeline wall demonstrates the company’s nearly 100-year history of growth. The timeline background features an aerial photo of the old BF Goodrich manufacturing plant as a nod to the downtown location, while acrylic panels showcase company milestones, and slick metallic fins separate each era.

To correspond with the building’s industrial-chic vibe, Rogers styled the lobby to flow with the existing architecture and historic atmosphere of downtown Akron. Rogers provided the design-build services for this modernized visual identity using Quanex’s corporate colors.

Rogers Partners with Multiple Exhibitors at Interphex 2024 Trade Show

Several of Rogers' clients showcased their remarkable innovations in pharmaceutical and biotechnology at Interphex 2024. On April 16-18, exhibitors and attendees came together at the Javits Center in New York City to discuss cutting-edge technologies shaping the industry's future.

Brinox displayed its turnkey equipment and solutions in its 10' x 25' split island booth. This exhibit featured a modern design, including equipment, a conference area and secure storage. A 16' double-sided lightbox tower ensured the brand was highly visible, while LED lighting strips defined the backwall. A semi-enclosed meeting space with pendant lighting and a large mural created a cozy area for engagement. A small reception desk, video monitor and brand messaging throughout finished this unique space.

OPTIMA Packaging Group's 30' x 40' island booth included a 3D virtual reality experience of some of its leading machine solutions. Seating areas, two with integrated video, gave attendees plenty of places to discuss their applications. A cool hanging sign with a lighted logo, two LED canopies and vinyl laminate flooring created a bright, well-defined space. Two conference rooms and a frosted glass corner wall completed this contemporary aesthetic.

Excellence United is a four-company alliance specializing in integrated pharmaceutical, medical and consumer solutions. The company's 30' x 45' island booth was designed to promote each brand individually and as part of the strategic partnership. 12' tall lighted towers promoted the brands while a central closet contained the Excellence United messaging and video monitors. Seating areas and a light, bright design stood out in the show hall.

Rommelag promoted its aseptic filling machines and blow-fill-seal technology in its 20' x 20' peninsula booth. Featuring a slick, lighted canopy attached to a storage closet, this trade show booth included a lounge seating area, product videos, display case and a machine demo. Huge black and white graphics of Rommelag's equipment in a plant environment made this booth multi-functional, modern and unique.

Rogers was thrilled to provide these great clients with a full suite of products and services to make their trade show exhibitions successful, including booth design, engineering and fabrication, I&D and labor management. As always, we thank these outstanding partners and look forward to our upcoming projects.

Clients Boost Their Visual Appeal at ISA International Sign Expo 2024

ISA 2024 Lobby

The International Sign Expo is one of the best opportunities for businesses in the printing, sign, graphics and communications industries to promote their brand. This year, three of Rogers’ outstanding clients are exhibiting in Orlando. Let us show you some of their booth’s distinct features.

Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions never disappoints with its trade show displays, and this exhibit is no different. The 30’ x 40’ corner booth showcases their vinyl graphic films for vehicle wraps, architectural design and crafting. Visitors can try the product by wrapping their own sample car hood and participating in fun contests and great prizes. A clever acrylic wall highlights the brand’s window films while creating a more intimate meeting space. A large tower with graphics and product samples doubles as a storage closet. A rounded reception desk graces the corner, and the brand’s vinyl decals can be found on the floor.

Matthews Paint by PPG added lots of interactivity with a virtual reality demo of their 1 Shot sign painters product. Matthews is a leading manufacturer of acrylic polyurethane paint for the architectural signage industry. This 20’ x 40’ island booth also features multiple meeting/product demo spaces and a central display/storage closet loaded with graphics and technical information.

ORAFOL Americas chose two booths to showcase its many films, automotive graphics, reflective solutions and tapes. The company’s 40’ x 50’ island booth features a slick, new Corvette that will be wrapped each day of the show. Two conference areas feature acrylic walls decorated with new vinyl artwork on the aisles. The interior walls of the conference areas double as a graphics/product demo area and storage closet. Lighted pedestal graphics were placed throughout.

The company’s second booth, a 10’ x 20’ island, focuses on the company’s KPMF vehicle wrap division. With a full-sized hood on display, visitors can sample the wrapping process themselves – and choose whether to be timed to compete on quality and speed! Multiple sample displays, A/V and a locking pedestal maximize every square foot of space.

Rogers was thrilled to assist these clients with a variety of services for the show, including exhibit design, engineering and fabrication, I&D and labor management.

We’re confident these leading companies will have a great show, effectively telling their brand stories and generating new leads! Check out their booths below!

Clean Energy on Full Display at RE+ Trade Show

Renu at RE+ 2023-2

Three clients showcased their solutions for the burgeoning renewable energy sector at the RE+ 2023 trade show in Las Vegas.

tesa tape Showroom Highlights Key Brand Messaging

tesa tape client exhibition area

Recently, the Rogers team worked with one of our newest clients, tesa tape, to design and construct their client exhibition area at their manufacturing facility in Sparta, Michigan.

What started out as an empty room transformed into a stunning, modern display of tesa’s capabilities. The project included the installation of two double-sided kiosks featuring drawer cabinets finished with smooth, gray laminate and backlit graphics. Additionally, seven aluminum light boxes permanently mounted on the walls display tesa’s industry solutions.

These displays are a wonderful way to create impactful brand impressions as customers visit this tesa plant. In fact, tesa had an investor meeting and open house in their new showroom less than a week after installation.

Rogers managed the graphic design, engineering and fabrication and installation for this project. Additional phases are planned, and Rogers will be on hand to continue the creation and build of this brand experience space.

Thank you, tesa, for choosing Rogers for your custom environment! We are looking forward to continuing to work on this project with your team.
